Ubisoft is making some changes to Ubisoft+, which will now be split into two tiers

Ubisoft has recently overhauled its Ubisoft+ subscription service, introducing two new tiers: Ubisoft+ Premium and Ubisoft+ Classics. The changes aim to offer more flexibility and choice to the subscribers.

  1. Ubisoft+ Premium: Priced at $17.99 per month, this tier merges the previous Ubisoft+ Multi-Access and PC Access. It is a comprehensive subscription that includes day-one access to new Ubisoft games, early access to select titles (like the new “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown”), premium editions, DLCs, and monthly rewards. This service is available across multiple platforms including Xbox, PC, and Amazon Luna.
  2. Ubisoft+ Classics: This is a new, less expensive tier available for $7.99 per month, focusing on PC. It offers a selection of popular back-catalog and live games from Ubisoft, such as “Far Cry 6”, “Rainbow Six Siege”, and “Watch Dogs: Legion”. The catalog of this tier is expected to grow over time. Additionally, this tier is included for PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers on console platforms.

Existing subscribers of Ubisoft+ PC Access will not experience any automatic changes to their subscription and their services, including pricing, will remain the same. Ubisoft is also planning to add Activision Blizzard games to its service in the future, following an agreement with Microsoft.

These changes reflect Ubisoft’s intention to cater to a broader range of gamers by offering different levels of access and content, tailored to different gaming preferences and budgets【13†source】【14†source】【15†source】.
